At Sway Pilates, we want every client to get the very best from their Pilates practice: real progress, real benefits, and long-term wellbeing.

Start with a Strong Foundation

At Sway Pilates, we strongly recommend that every new client begins with a minimum of 10 Beginner Reformer Pilates classes.

Why Beginner Classes Matter

Pilates is a highly technical and precise method. Beginner classes are essential to help you:

  • Learn correct form and posture

  • Understand and practice proper breathing techniques

  • Become familiar with the Reformer machine

  • Build a strong and safe foundation

  • Reduce the risk of injury

  • Get the maximum benefit from every class

Guided Progression

Once you’ve completed your beginner classes and feel ready to progress, simply speak with one of our instructors.
They will guide you and advise when it’s appropriate to move to the next level.

Progression at Sway is always supported and supervised.

Progress Safely

Starting with a solid foundation allows your body to move correctly and efficiently.
Moving to higher levels too soon may lead to reinforcing incorrect movement patterns, which, when repeated over time, can negatively affect your wellbeing.
