Our Policies

Everything You Need to Know

At Sway, we aim to provide a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone. To support this, please read and respect the following studio policies:

Cancellations & Attendance

  • We require a 12-hour notice for all class cancellations. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before class time will result in the loss of your class credit.

  • If a spot becomes available in a fully booked class, the first person on the waitlist will be automatically added.

  • Group classes and private sessions are 55 minutes, unless otherwise scheduled.

  • Please arrive on time. Sessions will begin and end promptly as scheduled, regardless of your arrival time.

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to a group class, you will not be allowed to join for safety and to minimize disruption.

Private Sessions: No-Shows & Late Arrivals

  • In case of a no-show or late arrival for private or virtual sessions, instructors will wait 15 minutes.

  • Arrivals beyond 15 minutes or no-shows are considered late cancellations and are not eligible for a refund or credit.

In-Studio Guidelines

  • Sway promotes a tech-free space for your safety and focus. Please leave your phone with your belongings or place it on airplane mode unless there is an emergency.

  • Out of respect for others, please avoid wearing strong perfumes or fragrances during class.

  • All dogs are welcome in the studio, as long as they are well-behaved and we are notified in advance.

Consent and Physical Adjustments

  • We honour the importance of consensual touch. Clients will be given the option to anonymously consent to hands-on adjustments at the start of every class.

Retail & Service Sales

  • Retail purchases are final. No refunds or exchanges unless the item is faulty.

  • Service sales (e.g., class credits or memberships):

    • Refunds will only be issued in cases of payment processing error.

    • Studio credit may be issued for incorrectly processed purchases or change of mind.

    • All refund or exchange requests must be submitted to info@swaypilates.ie within 7 days of purchase.

Lost Property

  • Sway is not responsible for personal items left behind in the studio. Please check before you leave.

Memberships

  • Monthly memberships will auto-renew for 6 months.

  • After 6 months, members will need to manually renew if they wish to continue.

Community & Safety Commitment

We are committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all. Sway Pilates has a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of:

  • Hate speech

  • Discrimination or harassment based on race, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any protected status

  • Sexual harassment or misconduct

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unwelcome sexual advances or comments

  • Displaying sexually suggestive materials

  • Physical contact without consent

  • Offensive jokes or gestures

Any violation of these policies may result in suspension or termination of studio access.
